A 'natural' looking Eco website

Omnom Zero Waste is Southport's 'first zero waste shop' opened it's doors in January 2019 offering over 100 organic refillable products in order to reduce household waste and help reduce climate breakdown. Omnom Zero required an online presence which reflected it's existing branding and convey its ethos.

The website displays all the food and non-food items which are broken down into logical categories to make it easier to find the items you are interested in. Both the home page and internal pages made use of earth tones and shades to complement both the branding and Eco friendly products.

As the products and information will be changed in a regular basis the back end of the website was built to be accessible and easy enough for an end user to be able to change product details and upload new images.

Again despite the size of the website and the use of multiple images the site was built for speed using only the necessary code and all the images compressed to their optimal size without loss of quality. When tested with GTmetrix.com the result came back with a score of A (97%) and a page load time of approximately 1 second.
